It's not as easy as it looks. I only got half of these off the internet. The other half I honestly ripped myself. I got blasted last review about getting walking gifs. Your character moves in the screen as you play the game. Meaning, if you were to screenshot every frame and make it into a sprite, youde make it into a sprite of a character walking to the other side of the screen. Its hard to work with that because you dont know the length of the movie your making yet. Thats why there are so few walking GIFS. I just wanted to clear that up. Furthermore, you need an emulator and the Metal Slug 2 or 3 or 4 ROM to actually rip anything. You can spend 4 hours downloading a ROM if you have dial-up. Or you can go through the long argurous process of picking the scraps off of people who are non-selfish enough to share it with you off the internet. I just got half off the internet, then filled in the blanks with sprite rips. Thats how I did it...yeah it does seem hard....sry

Aw man..

I saw this animation when it first arrived at newgrounds and loved it, but I forgot to add it to my favorites. Now a couple days ago I needed sprites from metal slug but I couldn't remember the name of this animation...I have been searching for 3 days for this animation now and I just now finally found it:). Now I just ask that I please have a copy of the sprites or a link to where you got the sprites from? Thanks in advance.

Two things I noticed

The shading rotated with the rest of it and you saw his fingers on both sides...Other than that it looked good....

yeah.. u are right.. didnt put a light in the 3d file ;)
it makes the light come from the front of the camera always

So far the score indicates this is going to get blamed but then only 17 people have even viewed it at the time I saw it. *I* LOVED it though. It was simple and everything but the animation was real smooth and the 3Dness. I don't know why I like it so much but if it survives it's going on my favorites! ^_^

I LOVE IT!

I love this series! This is my favorite flash series I have seen so far! It has even inspired me to finally do a serious animation of my own and ACTUALLY FINISH IT! The only thing I am wondering is why you don't have the first one here on new grounds where I can vote 5 on it every day and add it to my favorites list! Other than that I hope the next two chapters come out real soon!
